1. Introduction

Welcome to Climber Mountain. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our AI-powered interview training platform at climbermountain.com and our associated web and mobile applications.

By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Climber Mountain is operated by Climber Mountain Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 17175239), with its registered office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, London, W1W 5PF.

2. Definitions

‘Platform’ means the Climber Mountain website, web application and all associated services.
‘User’ or ‘You’ means anyone who registers for or uses the Platform.
‘Base Camp’ means our free plan.
‘Summit’ means our paid plan for people actively looking for a job, available monthly or as a 3-Month Pass.
‘Career’ and ‘Career Pro’ mean our lower-cost paid plans for people who have found a job.
‘Credits’ means the in-app currency used to unlock mock interviews and other premium practice.
‘Practice Pack’ means a one-off bundle of Credits bought through Mountain ATM.
‘Access Code’ means a code, paid for by an employer, university or other organisation, that gives you a plan for a set period.
‘Real Interview’ and ‘Take a Zoom Meeting’ mean the Summit-only interview modes that build your verified CV.
‘Content’ means all materials, AI-generated feedback, scores, training sessions and resources on the Platform.
‘We’, ‘Us’ or ‘Our’ means Climber Mountain Ltd.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Climber Mountain. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

4. Your Account

You need an account to use most features. You are responsible for:

Keeping your login details confidential.
All activity under your account.
Telling us straight away at admin@climbermountain.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

Accounts are personal and must not be shared. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

5. Plans and Prices

Current prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. All prices include VAT where applicable.

Base Camp (Free): unlimited 7-minute mocks, Fill the Gap and games, with no card needed. You can buy Practice Packs to unlock 15-minute mocks.
Summit – £14.99 per month: includes 25 Credits each month, Real Interview, Take a Zoom Meeting, your verified CV, the chance to appear on the Global Leaderboard, and a discount on extra Practice Packs. Renews monthly until you cancel.
Summit 3-Month Pass – £34.99: Summit for three months with a single payment. It includes 25 Credits each month, and unused Pass Credits roll over until the Pass ends. The Pass does not renew automatically; when it ends, your account returns to Base Camp unless you choose another plan.
Career – £4.99 per month and Career Pro – £9.99 per month: for people who have found a job. They include 5 and 10 Credits a month respectively and keep your CV live on the leaderboard. Both renew monthly until you cancel.
One-off products: individual practice products (for example, a single AI interview or an intensive prep package), paid for once by card or with Credits.

Summit-only features: Real Interview and Take a Zoom Meeting are only available on Summit, including the 3-Month Pass and Summit given through an Access Code. They cannot be unlocked with Credits or one-off purchases on any other plan. One-off products are for practice and do not add to your CV or leaderboard scores.

‘I got the job’:Summit members can switch to Career using the ‘I got the job’ option instead of cancelling. When you do, you will get a one-time bonus of 5 Credits.

Existing subscribers: if you joined on an earlier price, you keep that price until you cancel or change plan.

We may change our prices. We will give existing subscribers at least 30 days’ notice by email before a new price applies to them, and you may cancel before it takes effect.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By starting a subscription, you authorise us to charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel.

6. Credits

Monthly plan Credits (Summit, Career and Career Pro) are added at the start of each billing month. Unused monthly Credits do not roll over; they expire at the end of that billing month.
3-Month Pass Credits roll over within the Pass and expire when the Pass ends.
Practice Pack Credits expire 12 months after purchase, or earlier if you cancel a paid plan (see below). Plan renewals never reset or reduce them.
If you cancel a paid plan, all of your Credits expire when your final paid period ends, including any Practice Pack Credits. Please use any Credits you want to keep before then. Practice Pack Credits bought on Base Camp, without a paid plan, are not affected.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and can only be used on the Platform.

7. Access Codes

If an organisation gives you an Access Code, you can redeem it in the way we explain when you receive it. The code gives you the plan and time period set by that organisation. When that period ends, your account returns to Base Camp unless you choose a paid plan yourself.

Each code has a limited number of seats. Codes are for the people the organisation chose to give them to, and must not be shared publicly, sold or passed on. We may deactivate a code, or remove access gained through one, if it has been misused. Refunds for Access Codes are handled between us and the organisation that bought them, not with individual users.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel a subscription at any time in your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. Except as set out in Section 9, we do not refund part-used billing periods unless the law requires it.

Once any Credit from a Practice Pack has been used, that Pack cannot be refunded, except as set out in Section 9.

If a technical problem stops you using the Platform, contact admin@climbermountain.com and we will look at your case individually.

9. Your Statutory Right to Cancel (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)

If you are a consumer in the UK, you normally have the right to cancel a subscription, 3-Month Pass, Practice Pack or one-off product within 14 days of purchase, without giving a reason, and receive a full refund.

At checkout, we will ask you to confirm that you want immediate access to digital services. If you then start using paid features within the 14 days, including starting a paid session or spending any Credit from a purchase, you lose your right to cancel for a full refund, and Section 8 applies instead.

If you have not used any paid features or spent any Credits from a purchase, you may cancel within 14 days for a full refund by emailing admin@climbermountain.com.

10. Guest Mode

Guest Mode gives limited access to selected parts of the Platform so you can try it out. It does not include personalised content, saved progress or the full training experience.

11. The Leaderboard and Your CV

Summit members who have completed at least one Real Interview can choose to appear on the Global Leaderboard. Your CV is built only from your Real Interview and Take a Zoom Meeting sessions. The ‘Verified’ badge means those scores came from sessions completed on Climber Mountain. It does not mean we have checked your identity, qualifications or employment history.

You can hide your profile at any time in Settings. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is shown.

If you view the leaderboard as an employer or recruiter, you agree:

to use candidate information only to consider people for genuine roles;
not to copy, scrape, sell or republish any candidate’s information; and
to treat candidates’ personal data in line with data protection law.

Climber Mountain does not employ, place or recommend candidates. We do not guarantee any hiring outcome for employers or candidates.

12. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for anything unlawful or in breach of these Terms.
Reverse engineer, copy or reproduce our AI models, prompts or proprietary content.
Share your account or Access Code with others, except as Section 7 allows.
Upload or submit harmful, offensive or misleading content, or anyone else’s personal information without their permission.
Try to manipulate scores or the leaderboard, for example by using another person or tool to answer for you.
Try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its systems.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including George and our other AI characters, training materials, brand assets and interview frameworks, is owned by Climber Mountain Ltd or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute or create works based on it without our written permission.

Your answers and your CV belong to you. You give us a licence to use them only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Climber Mountain™ is a trade mark of Climber Mountain Ltd (UK trade mark application no. UK00004418006, registration pending).

14. AI Interviewers and Company Names

Our interviewers and coach, including George, Seb, Margaux and Luke, are AI characters, not real people. Feedback and scores are generated by AI for training purposes only. They may not always be accurate, and they are not professional careers advice.

When you practise for a named company, the interview is our simulation of that style of interview. Climber Mountain is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any company you choose to practise for, and our sessions do not reflect that company’s actual hiring process or decisions.

15. Our Liability to You

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for any failure to secure a job or promotion. Our total liability to you will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

16. Ending Your Use of the Platform

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms. If we close your account without good reason, we will refund any unused prepaid period.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will email registered users about material changes before they take effect. If you continue to use the Platform after that, the updated Terms will apply. If you do not agree, you can cancel your plan before the changes take effect.
